Ongoing water supply systems rehabilitation works in Bolnisi
Municipal Development Fund of Georgia implements water supply rehabilitation works in Bolnisi municipality. Currently population is provided with 7- 8 hour water supply, and since project completion local population will be provided with 24 hour water supply. MDF executive director Juansher Burchuladze visited rehabilitation works. Within the framework of the project water meter boxes were installed for 1821 households, rehabilitation works for 3 reservoirs are ongoing, construction of chlorination building is foreseen. Project commenced in September 2014 and will be finalized by the end of the current year. More than 50 workman is hired on works most of them locals. Project is implemented by Georgian company “ Java” by European Investment Bank financing. Since works completion object will be handed over for commissioning to United Water Company of Georgia.
