Galaktion Buadze meets “COBRA ASSIGNIA” representatives
Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Galaktion Buadze, Deputy Executive Director Davit Tabidze and Advisor on Project Management and Economic Issues Beka Toria have met the representatives of Spanish Company “COBRA ASSIGNIA”. Conducted meeting was of familiarizing character. Conversation held between the parties was about “University” Metro Station project being implemented by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia with financing of the Asian Development Bank at the cost of GEL 83,000,670.45.
Construction of the 23rd Metro Station of Tbilisi Metropolitan had been the preserved project for 22 years. Implementation of the referenced project will assist significantly to development of transport field in the capital of Georgia. Completion of construction of the second line of Tbilisi Metro Station will enable the citizens of Tbilisi City to move in a rapid and safe manner. The new metro station will relief the over ground vehicle flows and assist considerably to urban transport development.
Works were commenced in May 2015 and will be finalized in 2017.
