MDF executive director held meeting with World Bank’s representatives
MDF executive director Galaktion Buadze and first deputy executive director Juansher Burchuladze held meeting with World Bank’s representatives. Parties discussed ongoing projects supported by World Bank and set up future cooperation plans. World Bank has been cooperating with MDF for many years. Large-scale projects such as sport complex reconstruction/rehabilitation in Kaspi, visitor center construction in Old and New Shuamta, Batoni Caslte rehabilitation and construction of “ Matsoni House” in Alaverdi. Many infrastructural projects as well as rehabilitation of houses in Dartlo, rehabilitation of access road to Gergeti Trinity are implemented with World Bank’s financial support. Implementation of mentioned projects shall result in creation of job opportunities for local population and shall improve socio economic conditions and promote increase in tourist flow.
