Rehabilitation of Dariali Monastery Access Road Ongoing
The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure is carrying on monitoring of project implementation process in the regions. Zurab Alavidze was visiting the Dariali Monastery access road project site, where works for road infrastructure arrangement are actively in progress.
In the named road section, concrete pavement is being laid and cobblestone pavement is being arranged. Moreover, arrangement of the parking lot and drainage system is envisaged in the adjacent area. The works will be completed in October and following project completion, the locals, pilgrims and tourists will no longer have any kind of inconvenience while accessing the monastery.
The project is funded by the World Bank to the sum of GEL 1,5 million. The works are under implementation by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia.
Zurab Alavidze is continuing project monitoring activities countrywide and is familiarizing himself on-site with the state of internal roads in various regions.
