Tskneti-Betania Road Rehabilitation Works in Active Phase
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing Tskneti-Samadlo and Tskneti-Akahaldaba road rehabilitation works.
Zurab Alavidze – Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Kakha Kaladze - Mayor of Tbilisi City and Gagi Buadze – Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia were visiting the ongoing project site.
Tskneti-Samadlo and Tskneti-Akahaldaba road was damaged as a result of natural calamity of June 13, 2015. Since that time, transportation along the named road has remained as an unsettled problem for the population.
Tskneti-Betania road is the most challenging section connected to Tsalka, Gardabani and Tetritskaro Municipalities. Following project completion, the population will be able to travel freely and comfortably.
Cost of the road design-build contract is equivalent to GEL 25 million and it is funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB). Works will be completed in the summer of next year.
