Construction of 81 New Dispensaries is Launched throughout Georgia
Construction of 81 new dispensaries is launched throughout Georgia. To this effect the Government of Georgia has allocated GEL 2,4 million.
The dispensaries will be installed by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia in the special areas selected by the municipalities. The project is being jointly implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia.
All the dispensaries are standard with the total area of 31-33 sq.m. The building is built with sandwich panels and is equipped with 2 heaters and 2 water closets. Internal and external infrastructure of the building will be adapted for disabled. Structural units of dispensaries are being assembled in Georgia and are manufactured in the factory located in Lilo.
Upon completion of the building infrastructure arrangement by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, the dispensaries will be placed under the authority of the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia, get equipped and provide medical services to the local population.
This week the new dispensaries will be placed in the municipalities, which will be followed by their equipment works. According to the schedule, construction of 81 dispensaries countrywide will be completed in September of 2014. Ten of the scheduled dispensaries will be placed in the demarcation line bordering villages.
Local authorities are actively involved in the project implementation process, they provide for settling matters on-the-site. In particular, local authorities ensure arrangement of the foundation, underground utilities, water, gas and electric power supply in the area allotted for the dispensary.
The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia will conduct permanent monitoring in order to provide for completion of construction in timely and quality manner.
