The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) has conducted the Open Day with regard to the “Business House”. Mr. Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of MDF talked about the project in details.

There will be provided development of physical as well as electronic spaces at the “Business House” to enable the representatives of businesses to receive more than 600 state services through the single window system. The referenced services have been provided by up to 60 organizations to date.
The building of the project is to be of modern type, innovative and power efficient at the same time. It will be the first building in Georgia to have the LEED Silver Certificate of “Green Building”. On the other hand, its design will naturally merge with the image of the city and will add some kind of diversity to it.
For the first time the electronic bidding for construction of the “Business House” was announced by MDF on December 21st , 2017 and as the deadline for submission of bids was set to be January 23rd. As per decision made by Dispute Resolution Board and with consideration of the fact that bidding conditions could not be changed, MDF stopped electronic bidding procedure for the referenced Bidding in order objectives stipulated by the Georgian Law “On State Procurement” to be complied with. The new bidding will be announced according to the revised terms.
MDF aims at the bidding procedures to become more transparent and efficient and Companies interested to be enabled to get familiarized with the project prior to Bidding announcement that will provide them with the opportunity to prepare in a better way and the environment too to become more competitive.
