Zedazeni Monastery Access Road undergoes rehabilitation

The access road to Zedazeni Monastery undergoes rehabilitation by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). The project envisages rehabilitation of the road, as well as arrangement of the parking lot and an access road to the Church.
Executive Director of MDF Giorgi Shengelia along with Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor Shalva Kereselidze visited the current rehabilitation works on site.
The project aims at regulating the tourist infrastructure to form the favorable conditions for tourism development throughout the region.
The project implementation is funded by the World Bank (WB) and its cost amounts to approximately GEL 2.5 million. The works were commenced in July, 2018 and will be finalized in spring of 2019.
