MDF is Initiating Rehabilitation Works for Ilia Chavchavadze Statue Located in Tsitsamuri
This decision was made at the today’s session of the Government of Georgia, based on the proposal of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. Ilia Chavchavadze statue located in Mtskheta Municipality Village Tsitsamuri will undergo complete rehabilitation. The terminus will get rehabilitated, the access stairs will be reconstructed and the adjacent area will get improved. The works will be implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia. The present project aims at promotion of local, public and tourist infrastructure development in Mtskheta Municipality. By decision of the Government of Georgia, within a two-month period the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia will complete procurement procedures under the present project, which will be followed by physical rehabilitation works. As instructed by the Government, the project will be funded with appropriations provided under the sub-program to be implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, and will not invoke allocation of any additional funds from the state budget.
