New Schools Constructed in Kere Village of Gori Municipality and Kindzati Village of Khashuri Municipality
The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) has completed construction of new schools in Kere Village of Gori Municipality and Kindzati Village of Khashuri Municipality within the Schools Construction and Rehabilitation Program.
Construction of schools has been funded by the Government of Georgia (GOG).
Public School of Kere Village of Shida Kartli Municipality in the vicinity of the borderline has been constructed in compliance with international standards. The school is designated for 90 pupils. Construction of school in the borderline village is significant, since it will enable the pupils to proceed with studying in appropriate (from infrastructural standpoint) and well-equipped environment. There have been arranged 9 classrooms, 3 offices and 1 lab at school.
The Public School of Kindzati Village of Khashuri Municipality is designated for 150 pupils and comprises of 12 classrooms, 3 offices and 1 lab.
Together with arranging the classrooms at schools, the schoolyard has undergone improvement; heating, water supply and sewage systems have also been arranged there. The school has been fully adapted for those with special needs.
The pupils had had to be educated under rough conditions, although construction of new schools will enable them to proceed with studying under conditions of proper infrastructure and in well-furnished environment.
