Annual Italian Architecture and Design Days in Tbilisi
On March 29-30 of 2023, the traditional annual event related to the popularization of Italian design and architecture hosted by the Embassy of Italy to Georgia and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE - ITA) was held in Tbilisi.
The Ambassador of Italy to Georgia Enrique Vale and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Irakli Karseladze in cooperation with the National Council of Italian Architects (CNAPPC), DOMUS-Georgia and European Institute of Design (IED) opened jointly three exhibitions. Lectures, workshops and Architecture and Design competitions are to be held under the event as well.

Executive Director of MDF, David Tabidze addressed students of the Tbilisi State Academy of Art and launched discussion regarding urban upgrade, infrastructural projects and opportunities existing in the country. Participants of the named discussion were representatives of architecture and design fields.
The participants reviewed the current projects focused on Georgian urban development, including the ones, being implemented throughout the country within the “Renovated Regions” Program.
The Italian Architecture and Design Days in Georgia aim to raise awareness and availability of Italian Design in Georgia, enhance connections between the representatives of associated fields and assist in multi-stakeholder cooperation with Georgia in these fields.
