Georgia to host the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in 2025
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is building infrastructure required for the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival.

A biathlon and cross-country field is being constructed in Bakuriani for the festival. In Tbilisi, the Ice Palace is at the stage of completion.
Construction of the new infrastructure and bringing it in line with international standards is actively underway.
In connection with the festival's organizational issues, heads of the mission of the European Olympic Committees of the European Youth Olympic Festival are visiting the country.
Davit Tabidze, the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Zurab Darchiashvili, the Deputy Chairman of Bakuriani - 25 and invited guests attended the working meeting along with the members of the Festival Coordination Commission.
At the meeting, the results of the 7-month work of the Steering Committee were discussed, which were favorably received by the guests. The participants of the meeting also reviewed coming plans. Among other matters, they discussed various infrastructure projects to be implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure for the European Winter Youth Festival.
In order to increase awareness on the event and promote advancement of Olympic Games in the country, the Steering Committee has planned a 20-month active marketing campaign.
The hosting of the European Winter Youth Festival and the new infrastructure will contribute to the development of winter sports and tourism in the country.
