New kindergarten constructed in Senaki
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed construction of the kindergarten for 100 children in Senaki city.
Within the framework of the project, a bedroom, playroom, dressing and administrative rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a laundry room, an elevator and fire escape stairs were arranged. A recreational space and playgrounds were arranged in the yard. The kindergarten is fully adapted for people with disabilities.
The Minister - Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund - Beka Urushadze and representatives of the local government visited the completed project site.
The new kindergarten project was implemented with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and its cost exceeds 5 million. Within the framework of the program, a total of 20 kindergartens were completed in the following 11 municipalities: Zugdidi, Poti, Senaki, Martvili, Lanchkhuti, Kutaisi, Telavi, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Akhaltsikhe and Tetritskaro, with the total investment cost of GEL 79.6 million.
