Historical Central Park of Borjomi under Active Phase of Rehabilitation
Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze inspected the progress of works in Borjomi Central Park.
The project of rehabilitation of the historical central park of Borjomi is in an active phase. At the current stage, intensive works are being carried out on the building of the former “Borjomi” factory, which has the status of a cultural heritage object and is being restored in accordance with the relevant standards.
The construction of the “Rope Town” attraction has been completed and the infrastructure on the adjacent territory is being arranged. Near the Prometheus Monument, landscaping works are being finalized, and the sports ground is being arranged.
It is planned to develop the spaces in the park that will provide residents and guests of Borjomi with conditions for recreation and pleasant pastime.
