2 Public Schools in Batumi under Full Refurbishment

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure carries out the refurbishment of the Public Schools ##4 and 5 in Batumi.

The refurbishment of public schools, designated for 2230 students, will be implemented in accordance with the international standards and will be fully adapted to those with disabilities.

As per design, there will be arranged all required internal and outdoor spaces, classrooms, sports grounds and courtyards of modern standards. There will be installed also the heating, water supply and sewage systems.

As a result of refurbishment, works required for provision of energy efficiency will be conducted as well – heating of roofing and of walls that will ensure saving of electricity, and maintenance of warmth in winter period.

The refurbishment works of the public school are being executed with the financial support from the World Bank (WB).
