61 Outpatient Clinics Already Installed Throughout Georgia
Within the construction project of 82 outpatient clinics to be completed by the year’s end, the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of Georgia has already installed 61 clinics throughout the country allowing the population in 61 villages to receive primary health care services. The project is implemented by MDF, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure (MRDI) and the ministry of Labor, Health and social Affairs (MoLHSA). The outpatient clinics are being installed in the villages where this type of service has not been available so far. Special attention is paid to the highland villages and those surrounding the dividing line.
In Imereti region the installation works have already finished and in total 12 clinics are ready in the villages of Satsulikidzeo (Khoni Municipality), Khresili (Tkibuli), Rioni (Tskaltubo), Rupoti (Terjola), Mandaeti (Chiatua), Ajameti (Zestaponi), Sajavakho (Samtredia), Gorisa (Sachkhere), Zeda Dimi (Baghdadi), Saprasia (Vani) and PErevi (Sachkhere).
8 clinics are installed in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti (in total 9 clinics are planned), namely the community of Ingiri and the village of Ganmukhuri (Zugdidi municipality), Sachino community (Tsalenjikha), Ichkhuri village (Martvili), Etsera village (Abasha), Akhuti (Chkhorotsku), Shavghele (Khobi), and Ushapeti (Senaki).
In Guria region, the three outpatient clinics are installed in Dvabzu (Ozurgeti), Erketi (Chokhatauri), and Aketi (Lanchkhuti).
Total of 5 clinics were planned in Ajara and all are installed in the following villages: Sharabadzeebi (Khelvachauri), Choloki, Khulo street (Ibuketi), Daba Keda village (Daba Keda municipality), Khichauri (Shuakhebi) and Didachara (Borough Khulo).
In Kakheti region, 8 clinics are built: Shalauri (Telavi), Kartubani (Labodekhi), Mashnaari (Sighnagi), Mukuzani (Gurjaani), Sakobiano (Akhmeta), Kuchatani (Kvareli), Arboshiki (Dedoplistskaro), and UDabno (Sagarejo).
20 of the 21 planned clinics have been built in Kartli region: the villages of Akhrisi, Plavi, Kvemo Artsevi, Adzvi, Jariasheni, Kirbali, Khviti, MEgvrekisi, Ergneti, KEre, Kordi, and Tsitelubani (Gori municipality); Kareli Municipality villates of Ruisi, Tamarasheni, Koda, Avlevi and Bredza.
Out of the 5 planned clinics, two are already installed in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region in particular Lisi village (Mtskheta) and Pasanauri (Dusheti).
Two clinics of the 6 planned are ready in Kvemo Kartli region – Opreti village (marneuli) and Ranchpari (Bolnisi). As for Samtskhe-Javakheti, six clinics will be built here, one of which is already installed in the village of Akhaldaba (Borjomi).
The buildings are built with sandwich panels equipped with 2 heaters and 2 bathrooms. The clinics are fully adjusted to the needs of the persons with disabilities. MRDI and MoLHSA will conduct a permanent monitoring to ensure high quality work and completion of the construction in a timely manner.
