School for 500 students in Agara Borough under rehabilitation

The Public School of Agara Village of Kareli Municipality will be completely renovated in compliance with modern standards.
 
Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, alongside with Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze, were familiarized with the progress of works on site.
 
Renovation of the building will result in creation of safe and comfortable environment for students to be focused on their development.
 
The Agara School Rehabilitation Project envisages arranging of modern standard classrooms, library, scientific lab, sports grounds and a yard.
 
The heating, water supply and sewage systems will be fully replaced at the building.
 
The school will be adapted to those with special needs.
 
The Agara Public School undergoes rehabilitation with co-financing from the Government of Georgia (GOG) and World Bank (WB). Total cost of the project amounts to GEL 7.5 million.
