Davit Shavliashvili will Head the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Georgia
At the plenary session, the Parliament of Georgia has backed up a reshaped cabinet of ministers of Georgia. Following approval by the supreme legislative body, Davit Shavliashvili took up the duties of the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
Davit Shavliashvili was born on March 14, 1984. In 2005 he graduated from the Legal Faculty of Ivane Javakhishvili State University of Tbilisi. He has taken international courses of management, has been working in Austria and Poland and is a skilled and experienced manager.
From December, 2012 until April, 2013 he has worked in the capacity of the Head of the “Natural Resources Agency” – Legal Entity of Public Law under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia.
Since May, 2013 up to this date Davit Shavliashvili was chairing the Roads Department of Georgia - entity in charge of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
