Telavi School №2 begins an academic year in a renovated building

 The students of Telavi Public School №2 welcomed the new academic year in a rehabilitated building.

 

The school designed for 350 students, underwent full rehabilitation by Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure.

 

Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze and Executive Director of MDF Beka Urushadze congratulated the students on the commencement of the school year. They toured the new building together with the students and representatives of local authorities.  

 

The school has been provided with the classrooms equipped with modern technology, sports grounds, a courtyard, and security systems.

The building also has a library and a lab where students can gain practical and theoretical knowledge.

 

The school is fully adapted for those with special needs, ensuring access to inclusive education.

 

Before the rehabilitation, students at Telavi Public School №2 had had to study in difficult conditions. Nowadays, they have the opportunity to study in a safe, comfortable, and modern school environment that will significantly improve the quality of education.

 

The infrastructure of Telavi Public School №2 was renovated with co-financing from the Government of Georgia (GOG) and the World Bank (WB). The total cost of the project amounts to GEL 5.3 million.
