Commission reveals the need for revision of qualification requirements for the Tbilisi New Stadium tender

Concerning the new stadium construction project in Tbilisi, the Municipal Development Fund’s tender commission has not yet identified a winner company.
The commission believes that in order to render the process more comprehensive and competitive, it is necessary to review the tender documentation, including customer’s requirements and qualification criteria.
Since only one bidder met the tender qualification criteria and their offer was considerably higher than the prices of other participants, the commission exercised its right granted by law and deemed it necessary to re-evaluate the conditions and introduce appropriate changes.
