Design on Central Park of Akhaltsikhe is to begin
The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is to begin the design of Akhaltsikhe Central Park.
The project aims at creating a modern, multifunctional recreational space in the city center that will provide a comfortable environment for healthy lifestyle, social relations, and cultural events for locals and visitors.
As per design, Akhaltsikhe Central Park will feature the children’s and sports areas, cultural, educational, and recreational zones, open sports fields and training grounds, as well as a network of pedestrian paths and bike lanes.
The park will also feature information and commercial pavilions, an open-air stage, pergolas, and fountains.
Outdoor lighting, water supply, video surveillance, and security systems will be designed in accordance with modern standards.
In the course of the design stage, special attention will be paid to planting of local species in Akhaltsikhe Central Park, the possibility of using renewable energy, and the introduction of environmentally friendly materials.
