Design is to begin on a multifunctional park on Rioni bank in Kutaisi.
The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has begun designing a modern multifunctional park on Rioni bank in Kutaisi, near Chavchavadze bridge.
The project aims at creating a new urban space where local residents and visitors to Kutaisi can relax and participate in various public and cultural events.
The park will feature a media library, an open-air amphitheater, sports grounds, training areas, chess tables, entertainment areas for children, and catering facilities.
The project also envisages the arrangement of recreation areas and pedestrian paths and bike lanes, connecting the bank with the island.
The park will be equipped with modern irrigation, lighting, and security systems.
The new park space will be fully adapted for all visitors, including people with special needs.
