Public schools under construction in Kakheti villages of Vachnadziani and Atskuri

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is implementing construction of schools in the villages of Atskuri, Akhmeta Municipality, and Vachnadziani, Gurjaani Municipality, in Kakheti.
Kvara Chartolani, Deputy Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, inspected the ongoing construction works on site.
The public school in the village of Atskuri, Akhmeta Municipality, is designed for 250 students, and the public school in the village of Vachnadziani, Gurjaani Municipality, is designed for 200 students.
According to the design, classrooms, indoor sports grounds, and yards will be arranged in the schools.
Both schools will be provided with all necessary engineering communications - modern heating, water supply and sewage systems, which will ensure continuity and safety of the educational process.
The school projects were transferred to the Municipal Development Fund from the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency (ESIDA) LEPL and are fully funded by the Government of Georgia. Total cost of both projects exceeds GEL 12.5 million.
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is proceeding with development of educational infrastructure across the country, which provides future generations with the opportunity to receive quality education and create a healthy educational environment based on modern standards.
