Public Consultation Meeting on Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Tskaltubo WWTP Construction and Operation
Tskaltubo Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) (at output of 6171 m3/24-hour day) is scheduled to be constructed in the vicinity of Gvishtibi Village of Tskaltubo Municipality within “Waste Water Sustainable Management Project”, undergoing implementation by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) with support of Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and the World Bank (WB).
Operation of WWTP will provide treatment of sewage water emerged within Tskaltubo Town, to the allowable rate. Treated water is considered to be discharged into Tskaltubo Tskali River. Operation of WWTP will be executed by “United Water Supply Company of Georgia”.
Public Consultation Meeting on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for construction and operation of Tskaltubo WWTP will be conducted:
- At 12:00 p.m. of September 12th of 2017 at the Meeting Hall of Tskaltubo Municipality Administration Building (Address: #25, Rustaveli street, Tskaltubo)
- At 16:00 p.m. of September 12st of 2017 at Adminsitration Building of Gvishtibi Village in Tskaltubo Municipality.
The representatives of the society will be able to get familiar with the documents (EIA Report, Technical and Non-Technical Summary of EIA Report) concerning planned activity at the addresses as follows:
- Building of Tskaltubo Municipality Governmental Entity - #25, Rustaveli street, Tskaltubo;
- Office of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia – 3rd Floor, #150 Aghmashenebeli Ave., Tbilisi City (Phone (+995 577) 2437001; 2437002; 2437003; 2437004).
