Site Cleanup and Reinstatement at Vardisubani, Entrance to Telavi # IBRD/RDP/CW/NCB/30-2014
The Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Regional Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Site Cleanup and Reinstatement at Vardisubani, Entrance to Telavi. Project envisages strengthening the bank of the Matsantsara River along the construction waste disposal area and harmonizing construction waste disposal area with natural environment at km65 - km67 section of Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi motor road. Works under the project include River bank protection by gabion boxes and rockfill; asbestos-containing waste collection, packaging, transportation and final disposal on the municipal solid waste landfill; vertical planning of river bank within the new boundaries of the project area, leveling, landscaping (sowing of grass).
