The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has announced bidding for construction of a Zviad Gamsakhurdia Youth Center, Presidential Library and Museum in Zugdidi.

Cost of the ADB backed project equals GEL 30 million. Under the Velistsikhe urban regeneration project, in the central part of the village, about 60 houses, theater square and central street will undergo rehabilitation works, theater facede, I storey recosnstruction and improvement of the adjoining park is planned as well.

Today is an actually outstanding day for Kutaisi and Georgian sport, since we are laying the foundation for construction of a swimming pool of Olympic standards, - Irakli Karseladze, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia stated the aforesaid in Kutaisi, at the new sports complex project launching ceremony.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is completing water supply system construction works for Sachkhere Municipality Villages Jria, Darkha, Chala, Speti and Village Perevi, located in the vicinity of the occupied area borderline.

Under the Urban Transport Development Program, the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has already transferred 175 buses to 6 cities countrywide. Buses have been transferred to Telavi and Poti, 10 – to each city, 30 buses were transferred to Gori, 25 - to Zugdidi, 40 – to Rustavi, 60 – to Kutaisi.
