Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze, was familiarized with the construction of Akhaltsikhe Sports Complex.

Archil Nikoleishvili has been appointed Deputy Executive Director of MDF of the Ministry of Infrastructure.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed the construction of a new kindergarten in Bazaleti Village of Dusheti Municipality.

Construction and rehabilitation of kindergartens in Dusheti Municipality is ongoing. The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is implementing construction-rehabilitation of 4 kindergartens of international standards in Dusheti Municipality.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is constructing three kindergartens in Marneuli Municipality. The projects undergo implementation with funding from the Government of Georgia (GOG), and the cost of all three kindergartens exceeds GEL 10.4 million. In total, MDF is implementing the projects for the construction and rehabilitation of 20 kindergartens in Kvemo Kartli Region. At present stage, construction of 3 kindergartens and rehabilitation of one kindergarten, have already been completed. MDF has allocated more than GEL 71 million for only Kindergartens. The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure is actively involved in implementation of infrastructural projects in Kvemo Kartli Region. In Rustavi alone, the MDF has 7 ongoing projects, the total investment value of which exceeds GEL 41.6 million. The projects envisage construction and rehabilitation of schools and kindergartens, as well as construction of two technical football stadiums, which is in active phase.

The project was implemented within the framework of the “Cities and Resorts Development Program” and its cost equals GEL 16.2 million.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has completed construction of the kindergarten for 100 children in Senaki city.

Upon the nomination of the Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, Beka Urushadze was appointed to the position of Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
