Bidding Announced for Rehabilitation of 13 Schools in Guria and Kakheti Regions

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) proceeds with the Schools’ Construction and Rehabilitation Program. MDF has already commenced announcing of biddings for rehabilitating the schools in Guria and Kakheti Regions. The project envisages rehabilitation of 8 schools in Guria Region, while 5 schools are considered to be rehabilitated in Kakheti Region.

Project for Integrated Rehabilitation of Flood-Ravaged Infrastructure Completed

The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has completed the project for integrated rehabilitation-reconstruction of infrastructure damaged as a result of June 13, 2015 natural disaster. Cost of the 9-component project funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) exceeded GEL 50,6 million.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has announced bidding for construction of soccer stadium designed for 1500 spectators. Procurement is funded by Government of Georgia.

Occupation Zone Bordering Village Mejvriskhevi to be provided with a New School in Autumn - Prime Minister'a Visit to the Project Site

A school designed for 150 pupils is under construction in village Mejvriskhevi, in the vicinity of accupation zone; to this effect, about GEL 2, 400, 000 will be invested from the budget and in autumn pupils will avail themselves of all necessary conditions required for high-qualiity educational process. Giorgi Gakharia, Prime-Minister of Georgia inspected progress of construction works together with Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Environment and Agriculture.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) backs implementation of the project financially and its cost amounts to approximately GEL 7.8 million.
