Ozurgeti population to have the renovated Folklore Center from August

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia rehabilitates the Administrative Building for Ozurgeti Representation of Folklore State Center of Georgia. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze has conducted the site visit aimed at inspecting progress of works.

Kobuleti WWTP Commissioning

The Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) of Kobuleti has been placed into service. The MDF representative Levan Sukhitashvili has conducted the site visit to inspect the plant. Due to commissioning of the new WWTP the sanitary sewage will not enter the sea any more what in its turn will improve significantly the sanitary condition of the coastline, reduce adverse impact on environment and impede dissemination of various infectious diseases. The total cost of the project exceeds GEL 5 800 000. The Project was implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

International standard kindergarten in Khashuri

MDF is rehabilitating kindergarten #7 located on King Tamar street in Kashuri. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Zurab Alavidze visited rehabilitation works.
Building was amortized and required rehabilitation. After completion of rehabilitation works kindergarten building will conform to international standards.

Gori Population to have 10 new mini Sports Grounds soon

The Sports Infrastructure undergoes full rehabilitation in the regions. The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is rehabilitating ten mini sports grounds in Gori Town. The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze inspected progress of works on site.

In Tbilisi new metro station construction is finalized

Construction of 23rd metro station was intensively carried out in Tbilisi, as a result rehabilitation of tunnels being conserved for 20 years has been finalized. Now works for facing entrances on Sando Euli and Vaja pshavela streets are in progress. Simultaneously MDF is setting up and testing all installed systems.

Rehabilitation of Central Park in Dusheti Town undergoes implementation by Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze and Deputy Executive Director of MDF Juansher Burchuladze have inspected rehabilitation works on site.

Conference on the Subject of Tskneti-Samadlo and Tskneti Akhaldaba Road Rehabilitation Project

On June 13, the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia held a conference together with the “Caucasus Road Project” LTD. The conference, which was held in the conference hall of Tbilisi Marriott Hotel was dedicated to rehabilitation of Tskneti-Samadlo and Tskneti Akhaldaba road, damaged as a result of natural calamity of June 13, 2015. The guests invited from Germany, Turkey, Austria, and Russia were also present at the meeting. As is well known, Tskneti-Samadlo and Tskneti Akhaldaba road is the most challenging section. Actual state of affairs, outcomes of the survey and design solutions for road rehabilitation were discussed together with foreign experts.
