By the end of June, improvement of cultural heritage zones will be completed by Ubisa Monastery in Kharagauli Municipality.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia carries out rehabilitation of access road to St. George Monastery in Tabakini Village of Zetsaponi Municipality.

Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is carrying out roads and drainage system rehabilitation works in railway settlement in town Gori.

The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is constructing a new road. Currently, in Village Vakiri of Sighnaghi Municipality, where there was no motor road existing, construction works are ongoing for the one kilometer long and six meter wide asphalt-concrete road, the project also envisages arrangement of drainage canals.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has completed local road rehabilitation project in village Vazisubani. The project was backed by the European Investment Bank and its cost averages GEL 700 000. Gagi Buadze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has visited the road project site.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is implementing sewage headers’ rehabilitation works in Telavi. The project is backed by the World Bank and its cost amounts GEL 3 538 000. The Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Gagi Buadze was visiting the project site.

Construction of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Kobuleti City is finalized. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze visited the site.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has commenced the coast protection in Batumi City. Mr. Zurab Alavidze, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Zurab Pataradze, Head of Autonomous Republic of Adjara have conducted the site visit for progress of works. The project aims at Batumi coastline to be protected from erosion and to be restored-widened, especially on the side of the airport and Adlia village section, being southward of Batumi City.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia carries out improvement works for Street and sidewalks in Shvabebi of Tetritskaro Municipality. Mr. Zurab Alavidze – Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has visited the works progress. Stone pavement will be arranged and potable and irrigation water systems along with sewage and drainage networks will have been regulated in Asureti village by the end of the year.
