MDF by World Bank financial support is implementing 4 streets rehabilitation in town Gurjaani and village Mirzaani. Within the scope of the project following streets of Gurjaani municipality are under rehabilitation: Besiki, Baratashvili and Chavchavadze, at the same time internal roads rehabilitation works are completed in village Mirzaani. Cost of the project is GEL 1 493 156,73. More than 30 workmen are hired on rehabilitation works. Today progress of the project was visited by MDF executive director Ilia Darchiashvili and Gurjaani governor Gia Gergidze.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Minsitry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing World Bank funded project for rehabilitation of “Telavis Khevi” existing on Ketevan Tsamebuli Street in Telavi, cost of works amounts to GEL 1 108 914,99. Concurrently, in Telavi works at the cost of over GEL 900 thousand are ongoing for construction of the administrative building, which is funded from the state budget. There are some 40 persons employed at both project sites. Today, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, Mayor of Telavi, Platon Kalmakhelidze and Majority Deputy of Telavi, Gela Samkharauli were visiting works in progress.

Gurjaani water supply system rehabilitation is implemented by MDF the project is financed by EIB and total cost of the works consists of GEL 3 277 824,94. Today MDF executive director Ilia Darchiashvili along with local government representatives visited water supply system works. 45 workmen are hired on civil works; as a result of the project implementation Gurjaani population will be provided with 24 hour water supply. Project is coordinated by MDF and United Water Company of Georgia. Gurjaani water supply system rehabilitation if financed by UN and EIB.

With Prime Minister initiative on slope of lake “Lisi” construction of modern 320 room students dormitory is in progress. Today progress of works implementation was visited by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Davit Shavlishvili, first deputy minister Giorgi Amashukeli, MDF executive director Ilia Darchiashvili.

Municipal Development Fund of Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing construction waste cleaning works at the entrance of town Telavi at adjacent territory of village Vardisubani. Total cost of the works consist of GEL 1580210, 57. MDF executive director Ilia Darchiashvili along with local government representatives visited mentioned works.

​In connection to the World Autism Awareness Day, the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, George Amashukeli, together with the executive director of the Municipal Development Fund, Ilya Darchiashvili, opened the psychological services center – “Green House”. "Green House" is the rehabilitation center for children with autism. It helps them to integrate into the society. Municipal Development Fund has carried out the repair works by financing of the government with the cost of 65 143 GEL.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia -LEPL of the Minsitry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has completed rehabilitation project for the 4km road in Gardabani Municipality Village Mukhrovani funded by the World Bank. Project cost amounts to GEL 625 215. There were some 30 people employed at the project site and majority of them were locals. Today, the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili was visiting the rehabilitated road site.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia -LEPL of the Minsitry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing water supply system rehabilitation works in Bolnisi municipality, project is funded by the European Investment Bank and its cost exceeds GEL 4 million. As a result of project implementation, Bolnisi population and namely about 10 thousand residents will benefit from a 18-24 hour water supply schedule, instead of the existing 10-hour one. Besides, water quality will be improved.

Prime-Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili together with Davit Shavliashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Vakhtand Gomelauri, Minister of Internal Affairs opened a new structural unit – Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Special Tasks Department. A Department of Special Tasks of Ministry of Internal Affairs was opened in Aspindza. Rehabilitation works for the building were carried out by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. The opening ceremony was also attended by the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili.

First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Giorgi Amashukeli together with the Mayor of Tbilisi City, Davit Narmania, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili and Chairman of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, Zurab Tkemaladze has inaugurated the project for construction of the 320-place student hostel on the Lake Lisi slope in Tbilisi.
