Tbilisi-Rustavi Highway Construction Works have Entered into an Active Phase
Tbilisi-Rustavi highway construction works are ongoing in full scale. Today First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Executive Director - Giorgi Amashukeli, Tbilisi Mayor Davit Narmania, ADB President – Venchai Jangi visited civil works on Tbilisi Rustavi highway. The authorities entered into conversation with people employed at the project site and obtained detailed information on the progress of works
After project completion, distance from Tbilisi to Rustavi will take 15 minutes and conveyance will become the most safe and convenient, project is implemented by Municipal Development Fund.

Giorgi Amashukeli Discussed Ongoing and Planned Infrastructural Projects with the World Bank Representatives
Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Giorgi Amashukeli met with the World Bank Sustainable Development Sector Leader for South Caucasus, Ahmed Eiwieda. At the meeting the parties discussed current and planned projects. The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is implementing several important infrastructural projects backed by the World Bank, namely Kakheti and Imereti Regional Development Projects. In 2015, Regional Development Project III will be launched with additional financial support from the World Bank, which involves implementation of sizeable infrastructural projects in Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Samtskhe-Javakheti Regions. The main topic under consideration by Giorgi Amashukeli and Ahmed Eiweida also concerned realization of the Regional Development Project III.

According to the Survey Conducted by IDFI, the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia was Ranked as the Most Transparent Legal Entity of Public Law
As a result of the survey conducted by the IDFI, which was aimed at checking transparency of the LEPL-s and entities in charge in terms of accessibility of public information within the period of 2013-2014, the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, operating under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Georgia has been ranked as the most transparent entity. By rating of the Institute, within the survey period, the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has demonstrated a 100% index of information accessibility.
