REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST for Consultancy Services for the Assessment of Grievances based on the Resettlement Action Plan of Telavi, Kvareli, and Dartlo Sub-Projects
The Government of Georgia and the World Bank agreed to co-finance a US$75 million Regional Development Project, focusing on Kakheti during the period 2012-2016. The Project Development Objective was to improve infrastructure services and institutional capacity to support the development of a tourism-based economy and cultural heritage circuits in the Kakheti region (http://www.mdf-kakheti.com/), (http://www.kakheti.travel/).
The main purpose of the assignment is to assess grievances and claims brought forward during the implementation of the abbreviated Telavi, Kvareli and Dartlo RAP and determine whether further actions should be taken to address them.

The Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Regional Development Project II, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Restoration and Internal Repairing Works of Train Station and LCG Building and Restoration of Small Size Pedestrian Bridges in Tskaltubo. The project envisages: accommodation of the Municipality Sakrebulo office in the police building located in the center of Tskaltubo – rehabilitation of facades and interior of the building, facade of the railway station building for accommodation of Resort Management Office on the I floor of the railway station building and rehabilitation works for the fountain existing in the railway station adjacent area. The project also envisages restoration-rehabilitation of 10 small pedestrian bridges located in the central park area.
